Youstream, westream, everyone should ustream!

Well… after my camping trip with my family this weekend [pics soon] i came home and checked my email [in a field for 2 days....no wifi...dead laptop battery i was in hell!]. I then thought ill have a look on ustream.tv for something to watch. After a brief look around the words “from my head” cought my attention.

So anyway i clicked on the feed and i can see a massive stadium in the stream and lots of people in graduation robes. I watched a little longer eager to see what this was all about and how it was done…and Marie-jo [the ustreamer] was walking around talking to people and saying hi your on live tv… i thought that this was totaly awsome! what a simple yet brilliant way to share what you are seeing with people all over the world!

So today i came online and found that the talent behind this quality idea was still awake [2:30 am there] and trying to pack her room up as she had to be out by 12. I got chatting to her and swapped links for various things including a link to her photography work and a link to her blog Marie-Jo’s Adventures.

If your interested in what she has documented about Stanford Graduation 2007 or what she is planing to do then check out her ustream page. Also check out the Stanford Blog.

Performance Vauxhall Show 2007 @ SantaPod Raceway

SantaPod Raceway was the location for Performance Vauxhall Show on sunday the 3rd of June 2007.

In past years my friends and my self have traveled up to the raceway on the saturday, camped over and watched the racing and looked at the show stands on the sunday. However this year we were not able to due to other commitments. So we all traveled up on the sunday. We left Willingdon at half 5 in a black Astra VXR with a red Mk3 astra following. We got onto the road that leads from Polgate to lewes [A27] and to our amazement a little way along past the long man of willmington parked in a dis-used fourcourt was a silver Audi S3 and a black Seat Leon Cupra R. Both these cars belonged to friends of ours and they then to joined the convoy.

We arived at the BP garage @ the bottom of the A23 nr Brighton, got supplies and waited for two more of my friends in their Vaxhaul Novas. One a Mk2 SRi 1.4 and another a heavily modded MK2 with a Valver [2.0ltr Red Top Engine from a larger car].

We then left the garage and on along the A23 then M25, Off the 25 onto the M1. We stopped at Toddington services for lav and more supplies. Banter was had then some of us went back to the cars. [some of the guys bought a rubber bouncy ball and were launching it in the the services. Apparently it was bouncing all over the place. :-) ]

We then all got back on the road. Got off the M1 @ junc. 15 and made a little de-tour round an industrial estate due to either a mistake or a laugh [we were following the driver of the Cupra R and i think he may have been having a laugh @ our expense as he took us down a very very dusty road...some of the cars had been cleaned the night before] but we did eventualy get there joind on the road leading to the raceway buy another of our friends, who traveled up the day before in another of our friends cars [MK3 V6 Astra] and stayed in a hotel. Confused…? Don’t worry…i was to!

I won’t bore you anymore with details of the show its self. ill just show u some pictures.
